Then in our main segment, Jim continues the story of when the McDonald's restaurant chain

proposed a new attraction for Disneyland. And judging from the emails we got this week,

a lot of y'all have really fun memories of McDonald's fries in the parks.

Let's get started by bringing in the man who refers to trail mix as the M&M's obstacle course.

I am both now not familiar and slightly terrified about what you're going to say, Jim. Go ahead.

Okay. Go up. Wait, no, no, no, hold on. This is the Robin Williams movie, right?

No, no, no, no, no, not the one based on the John Irving book. All right, all right.

Go ahead, go ahead. Gorp is good old raisins and peanuts, a early precursor of trail mix that,

of course, we being Americans, we then changed up. At a candy. You won't know that's

exactly that. You know, I remember 25 years ago, this holiday season was my first trip to Nancy's

parents house. But one of the things I encountered at the Stadler's home in Carrensville, Georgia,

for the first time was Gorp. And it was one of these things were again, it's raisins, peanuts,

M&Ms. I want to say cashews and it was just one of these things were at every Stadler family event.

We'd go to there'd be the bowl of Gorp. And the very thing you mentioned, the M&M obstacle

course is like, okay, I'll just I'll take this stuff out that I want to eat. That was a tremendous

faux pas. Yeah, that's that's like a doing something wrong at a state dinner like eating with the

wrong fork, right? There we go. There we go. That and I don't think my my mother-in-law that that
