As disciples of Jesus Christ, it's critical that we know what we've been sent out into

the world to do.

We haven't received grace simply to keep it to ourselves, but to extend this grace to

others.

In this message from Matthew 9, verse 35, through chapter 10, verse 4, David Platt urges

us to consider the mission Christ has given us, a mission that leads us to look to the needs

of others and to proclaim Christ loved them.

Though this mission isn't always easy, we go in the authority of the King.

Let me invite you to open with me to Galatians 1.

Galatians 1, I couldn't decide between two texts to preach on this morning, and so we're

going to hit both of them.

But don't get scared, we're not going to be in Galatians 1 for very long.

We're just going to look at that and let that vault us into Matthew 9.

But I want us to start in Galatians 1, over the last two weeks, we have seen the truth

of what it means to be in Christ, in Christ, to be in us, and pray that God by His grace

would enable us to experience the reality of those two glorious truths, what it means

to be in Christ, in Christ, to be in us.

And I want to ask this morning, though, is why?

Why has God put Christ in you?
