If you have a Bible, and I hope you do, I want to invite you to open with me to 1 Corinthians

6, 1 Corinthians 6, and we are going to dive in this morning to a picture of the disciples

body.

I want to mention something in the beginning of our time together that is important.

We are going to look at this morning at a text that we spent some time in last spring

on a Sunday morning, spent a little bit of time there when news had come out about

moral failure in our former pastors, the former pastors life from the Church of Brook Hills.

And I just want to say this morning, I want to make sure this is clear out there.

What we are going to talk about this morning has nothing to do with the former pastor.

It has nothing to do with anybody else for that matter.

It has to do with you and with me.

The greatest temptation we will face today when we come to this text is to think that this

text is addressing someone else when it is addressing us.

And keep that in mind as we are going to think about the disciples body.
