This past weekend, we watched the Super Bowl.

And for me and my family, it was another heartbreaking year because we are huge Buffalo

Bills fans.

My wife's from Buffalo, we got married in Buffalo.

We are part of the Bills Mafia.

And we almost made it again.

And I'll tell you this thing.

We were even there back in the Jim Kelly days with

Thurman Thomas and Bruce Smith and Andre Reed when the bills made it to the Super Bowl four times

and never won the title. I mean, that's the kind of pain that never leaves you. I remember Scott

Norwood, wide right, all the jokes,

it just becomes part of the family testimony. Like, we have endured. We have survived. We

have billed. But here's the question I want to ask. What happens when a people begin to make their favorite professional sports their religion?

Because there's a difference between enjoying football or basketball or soccer and worshiping

football, basketball, or soccer.

So here's my promise to you.
