Summary

Kristin Smart was a 19-year-old college student at California Polytechnic University when she disappeared in 1996. On May 25, 1996, Kristin attended an off-campus party with friends but never returned to her dorm. Despite extensive search efforts, Kristin's body was never found and her case went cold. That was until 2019 when Chris Lambert started a true crime documentary-style podcast about her murder. As he investigated Kristin's case, new witnesses came forward and new information was discovered. Join us as we discuss how a cold case was solved through independent investigative journalism.
