Hey guys Melissa here. Before the episode starts we wanted to give you a quick update to the thing that we're referring to in the show when we say we can't refer to that thing.

Well guess what? We got approval to refer to that thing. The big news is a few months ago, Mandy and I had the opportunity to participate in a true crime documentary for 2020.

And that is going to come out this Friday November 18th. And so the episode is called Tainted Love and it's about the murder of Stephen Beard.

It's a story we covered last year on our podcast. In March of 2021 the episode is called The Murder of Stephen Beard.

We had an amazing time working with 2020. Everyone was so great. It was such a cool experience for us.

The producer Abbey Levine was absolutely the best. And it was amazing to get to share more about Stephen and his life and his loved ones.

And we really hope you guys will check it out. It's out this Friday November 18th at 9.8C on ABC.

And you can also stream it on Hulu. We're basically streamers which I think means our teenagers will finally find us cool.

Hey guys and welcome to the moms and murder podcast. A true crime podcast featuring myself Mandy and my dear friend Melissa. Hi, Melissa. Hi, Mandy. How are you?

I am doing awesome and sick and tired of hurricanes sick and tired of rain. There are pieces of buildings in the Daytona area crumbling into the ocean.

I barely even knew that we were getting another storm. And I don't know what's going on. Yeah, wild and crazy. So since we last spoke to everyone.

We have gone through another little hurricane. It was so fast, Mandy. Like it was even fast to me who tracks the storms all the time.

And even I was like, Hey, by the way, there's a storm coming up and I only gave you like one day's notice because that's all I had.

Yeah, no idea. Until like the schools got canceled. Right. Then like my sister was even like, Oh, I guess it's real now because.

Yeah, well, that was me too. Yeah, I remember because you told me first that your kids canceled schools. And I at that point, my kids school hadn't canceled anything.

But I was like, Oh, yeah, that's probably coming. So I guess this is a real thing. So, yeah, so thankfully, it really wasn't that severe. The weather here.

Yeah. You know, nothing. Nothing crazy in my area. But yeah, so much more.

Yeah, but in areas that have already like gone through so much with the last one, like it was nobody was prepared for this to come through.

Even though you can have storms in November. And we know that. But you still in November, you're like, I'll eat my hurricane stash.

It's November. It's not going to happen. So I guess we learned our lesson this year. But well, that's not even that crazy. I actually had read like an article that said there has been a hurricane in November to hit Florida.

But it was in like 1983 or 85. It was one of those two. It was when I was about. Yeah. So it's really not that common for November. But yeah, very strange, strange times.
