In 1978, five young men left the Yuba City area of California on a 50-mile journey to California State University to watch a basketball game.

a small valley city it has a population of around 65,000 and it benefits

It sits at an elevation of less than 20 meters and surrounded by the mountains and hills of the Sutter Butts, a small

Yuba City was home to the Gateway Project, a vocational rehabilitation group that
