Welcome to Making Sense of the Madness. I'm your host, Sean Morgan, stepping in for John Michael's Chambers, who's on a health break.

And we have a great show for you today. We're going to be talking to John, sorry, we're going to be talking to Dr. Kirk Elliott about the financial news, that dirty word inflation, that people are finally willing to acknowledge exists and what that means for us as everyday Americans and how we can plan for this.

And we're also going to be talking to geopolitics expert for Cuba and Latin America, Maria Verlau, talking about what exactly happened on July 11th with the big protests in Cuba and where things go from here.

But first, we're going to go over the breaking news, and so let's get right into that.

So Cuomo, Governor Cuomo in New York, is demanding the private businesses ban unvaccinated

customers. And not long after his remarks today, the New Jersey Governor, Phil Murphy, said that he may impose mandatory vaccination requirements in New Jersey too.

Murphy said that his mandatory

Vax plans amounted to the absolute floor, meaning the minimum that the government

might do. So private sector employers, you know, according to, you know,

that's what Cuomo said, private sector employers should require more employees

to get vaxed before adding that employees in health

care facilities and other high risk venues like prisons, for example, must get vaccinated

right away. So, you know, Cuomo is this guy who put COVID patients in the nursing homes.

He is personally and should be legally responsible for the deaths of many,

many New York senior citizens. And now he's trying to act like he's the leader who's going to save

lives. This guy doesn't know the science. This guy is a criminal. And he's also been accused by many, many women of harassment and he just refuses to step down.

So, you know, I have a feeling that Cuomo is going to fall big time, much like this big fall of Fauci, which has been pending.
