This is Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Facebook.

He's been giving a lot of speeches lately trying to convince

people that Facebook is a force for good to give a voice to the voice list.

This all comes after backlash against the social media platform.

Thanks to the Cambridge Analytica scandal, external interference in the U.S. election,

Zuckerberg is on the defensive.

First, he gave evidence before the defensive.

and then a speech here at Georgetown University.

And those early years shaped my belief

that giving more people a voice gives power to the powerless and
