I want to share a message with you that I'm entitled the difference.

What difference does the resurrection make?

And I want you to turn your Bibles to Matthew, Chapter 26, or turn on your iPhones or

iPads or smart devices. However you read the Bible, just make sure you read it.

But Matthew, chapter 26, will go to some other passages during the message, but I want us

to stay in Matthew 26 for this message. And I'm going to take you on a journey in this message.

To help you understand where I want us to go, I remembered something that happened years ago when my second son,

James, was in the car with one of his friends named Andrew. And Andrew's father is Pastor John Dunn, one of our pastors. And at this time,

years ago we were serving as pastors at Shady Grove Church. And so we're going along and I'm driving, Pastor John, he's in the front seat.

James and Andrew are in the back.

And to tell you how long ago this was, they were around five or six years old and they didn't need to be in car seats then.

So Andrew John's son was standing up in the back seat.

And I happened to notice in the rear view mirror and so I said to John because I didn't want

Andrew to get heard if something happened, you know, so I said to John, hey Andrew's standing

up in the back seat.

And so John said, hey Andrew, buddy,

I need you to sit down.

And Andrew just kept standing.

Now I know you've never ever had a child do anything like that before but he did so he just kept standing and so John wanted to make sure then that he heard him and that he heard the instruction clearly and so he said

Andrew are you hearing me and he said yes sir and he said okay I'm going to

tell you again something and I want you to obey me do you understand he said yes sir. He said okay Andrew I need you to sit down and Andrew kept standing

So the next thing John said was he said hey buddy. I am so sorry to tell you this
