that is the difference between killing and murdering. And you might be wondering

it is because we always talk about the importance of sanctity of life issues

and we talk about you know how what are what's our position on the use of

force? What is our position on the use of deadly force as Christians? Are we

called to be pacifists? Is there ever any way to justify this kind of force? Even

in terms of our support of the death penalty for some of you who support the

death penalty. So you may want to want another difference between these two

things because it helps you to articulate why we hold certain positions as

Christians. Look, most people don't even realize that that killing is not

against the law. Murdering is against the law, but not killing. And you see this

command in Exodus, right? So let me put it the Old Testament command in Exodus 20

verse 13, you shall not murder. But the real question is, well, what is that

what does that word murder mean? Or at least now, and sometimes you can get to

that by simply doing a word study of Hebrew, but sometimes words are used in a
