This is Andrew DeCecho, bringing you another edition of DeCicco Daily.

We're going to do a two-part series, and the first part of it is going to be offensive players who I perceive to be

on the bubble as we enter training camp which first practice again begins Wednesday for the

Philadelphia Eagles. Okay, so let's look at the offense here and the first player who comes to mind

is running back

AJ Dillon. So A.J. Dillon was signed as a free agent to a one-year prove-it deal, and he's

been remarkably productive in his career, rushing over 600 yards three times. So he obviously

has a sustained track record of production.

He adds experience to the backfield behind Sequin Barkley.

Remember, Will Shipley, the projected number two running back is somebody who always played

65 snaps during the regular season as a running back.

He was obviously integral to the Eagle Special teams, but he's very inexperienced in terms of

being able to get actual game reps at that position.

That's where AJ Dillon potentially comes in.

So you like the size that he brings.

He's a tough, rugged, downhill runner, doesn't offer anything,

you know, in terms of stretch plays or home run hitting ability. That's not his game. But if everything

works out perfectly for the Eagles, A.J. Dillon, I could see him being a closer. And also, if Seyquan Barker were, to some reason, missed time,

or even if the Eagles get a pretty sizable lead in games,

or even if they get off to a fast start this season and compile a lot of wins,
