Welcome into this edition of DeCecho Daily.

And today I want to talk a little bit about the upcoming trade deadline.

And by the way, after the trade deadline, anyone who is released is subjected to waivers,

whether you're a veteran or not.

So there's a big distinction there.

I just wanted to throw that out there before I forget to mention it.

I feel it's important to note every single season that I have these conversations, but

the trade deadline.

And what could that potentially mean for the foot off the Eagles?

Well, there's a number of positions that I think are worth considering.

Now, to what degree?

Well, I'm going to sort of map it out, at least how I view it, what I view to be the most important.

And we'll go from there.

The most important for me is edge rusher.

The Eagles were able to dominate the New York Giants, and they produced five sacks in that game. But if you think

about it, Zach Bonn had one, and there were three from the interior, Jalen Carter, Morrow, Jomo,

and Jordan Davis had one. Jordan Davis, by the way, has three on the season, which is just

tremendous. But they haven't gotten a ton from their edge group.

And when you look at the current iteration of what they have to work with, sure,

there's reinforcements on the way and Brandon Graham and Nolan Smith.
