What's going on, everyone?

0:10.9

Welcome into another episode of DeCecho Daily.

0:13.9

Andrew DeCechko here, Eagles Beat Reporter for Inside the Birds.com.

0:17.9

And I want to spend today's podcast talking about three under the radar eagles that I feel have become afterthoughts in the aftermath of how the roster has taken shape.

0:30.4

You know, there's a lot of new faces, new competition, and some of those holdovers have sort of gotten cast aside by some, not all.

0:39.7

And I kind of wanted to focus on them and maybe their pathway to a roster spot.

0:45.5

The first player that I want to mention here is tight end Cameron Latu.

0:50.2

And so I look at Cameron Latu.

1:19.3

one-year deal. He's a one-dimensional blocking specialist. Stone Smart, played in 53 games,

1:25.6

started seven in his career. He signed in Free Agency.

1:28.7

Grant Calcutera re-signed, and there's E.J. Jenkins who's here and Cameron Lattu.

1:35.6

So you may look at it and say, how many tight ends realistically will the Eagles carry?

1:40.8

Assuming that they're going to go a little bit heavier here in light of the fact that

1:46.8

Sean Mannion's coming from a background in Green Bay where they did focus on the tight end.

1:52.3

So there's a world in which I see the Eagles keeping four on the roster.

1:58.1

Dallas Goddard and Eli Stowers are certainly assured their spots, but then it becomes a little tricky, and there's not a lot of definitive answers here.

2:07.0

And this is all without seeing a lot of these new faces having taken so much as a practice.

2:12.6

I want to reiterate that.
