Hey, what's going on everybody?

Welcome in to this edition of the Checo Daily.

I am Andrew DeCechko, and today we are going to spend a little bit of time previewing the Eagles NFL schedule release

ahead of Wednesday's big reveal, also across the NFL.

But we're going to look at it through an Eagles lens.

And I have to say, full, you know, full disclosure, as a journalist, as a reporter,

this is something that I hone in on because I immediately look to see about travel arrangements and where certain days fall and how that

fits in. And that's what I've been doing the last five or six years. And this year in particular, because some of the away games are places that press boxes

that I've always wanted to go to.

And so you look and see how you're going to coordinate everything.

And it all starts week one at home against those Dallas Cowboys on September 4th, opening night on Thursday.

And that to me is a little bit of a curious opposition.

Normally, you have to earn the right to be the team that faces off against the defending Super Bowl champions.

And the Dallas Cowboys, let's face it, they've been largely a non-entity.

They are never a team that's deep in the postseason conversation, and they're now going

to benefit from playing the Eagles on opening night.

Now, Eagles, Cowboys, they don't need anything other than just playing in a week

10 matchup to draw a lot of eyes.

But this also gives the Eagles and the Cowboys a little bit more of an allure because sometimes

when the Eagles and Dallas, they meet, both teams aren't playing for something,

meaning the Eagles usually aren't playing for anything of significance because they usually

have things locked up for better or worse. And for Dallas, they're usually, they usually start
