I am your host, Andrew DeCecho.

And there has been already, as I sit here and record this podcast around 2.30 on this rainy Wednesday afternoon, a ton of news surrounding the Philadelphia Eagles.

And we will get to the most pertinent of information. And I really hope that I don't have to talk too much more about this because I've exhausted every angle of this topic over the

past couple of months and I really just want to get back to talking about football, the roster

construction, how the different pieces fit into the equation and then turning my attention

to training camp, all of the important stuff. But there was a ruling on the play that is universally referred to as the

tush push. To be clear, I don't call it that. The Eagles don't call it that. George Milata

mentioned yesterday, if you listened, that he hates that name, but there was a sentiment out

there, a strong sentiment, leading up to the ruling.

And let's not forget that this was brought to the attention at the owner's meetings,

as certain teams were really adamant about getting that play band.

And for those who don't know, or is it's the scrum that the Eagles use in short yardage

where the J-1 Hertz and, you know, the offensive linemen use their leverage and they push

and surge ahead.

And there is a lot of a lot of teams, namely the Green Bay Packers who brought it to the forefront,

also the Buffalo Bills, that were vehemently against the play

and citing player safety and, you know, pace of the game and all that.

But really, it's one of the safest plays in the NFL.

There has been no indicators that it's a play that's

dangerous. Obviously, it's very taxing on the center when you look at, all you have to do is
