Hey, what's up everybody?

Andrew DeCechko here with this edition of The Checo Daily.

I will not be at the NFL Scouting Combine this week, but the podcast will continue.

I will have content free every single day this week.

And today we're going to start by talking about four positions of need based on how I view it in terms of priority.

And starting at the top, we're going to go with linebacker where Nacobobey Dean is recovering from the torn Pateller tendon,

where Oren Berks and Zach Bonn are pending free agents,

Ben Van Sumeran, is recovering from a knee injury.

And the only linebacker that's healthy and available and guaranteed to be around for 2025

is second-year linebacker Jeremiah Trouter Jr.

While I do believe that Zach Bonn is going to be a priority for the Philadelphia Eagles,

you don't know what the market's going to dictate.

You don't know where the Eagles are going to have a, they're going to balk or they're going

to have a walking away price, but he does have more value to the Eagles than he probably would as some other teams because

of the familiarity with Vic Van Gio because of the fact that while he's not a homegrown talent,

Howie Roseman and Vic Van Gio sort of, they invested time and resources in acquiring Zach Bonn and working and developing them

in the case of Vic Fangio. And I think they want to see it through. Zach's still young and he

does have his best football ahead of them. I don't, and you also have to think about teams and how

they may view him. Do they view him as potentially a one-year wonder or do they view him as a player who's

just scratching the surface of his capabilities?

I think he's going to be a priority, but we can't go into the offseason operating under the

assumption that they're going to retain him.
