Well, there's news out of Eaglesland Monday morning,

and it doesn't sound particularly good

as it pertains to Lane Johnson, Eagles right tackle, the best in the world, the best in the

business. And Adam Schaefter from ESPN says that Eagles five-time all-pro offensive tackle,

Lane Johnson suffered a Liss-Frank injury during Sunday night's win over the Lions.

Per sources, it is not expected to be a season-ending injury, but he could be headed to injured reserve.

It's a tough break for Lane Johnson this year who's battled foot, ankle, stinger,

and he's been playing at such a high level and has throughout his career,

it's certainly a damper. And when you're an Eagles offense that struggle to sustain any sort of

consistency, it's not something that you want to take lightly.

And given Lane Johnson's age and situations like that, you have to always look at it

and be a little bit more concerned than you ordinarily would.

That's not an injury to be taken lightly, certainly not someone who plays that position,

who relies on his athleticism and things like that.

And it's going to be a big loss for the Eagles because you can make an argument that,

well, you don't have to make an argument.

He's one of the most important players on the team.
