What's going on, everyone?

Welcome into another episode of DeCecho Daily, Andrew DeCechgoeagles beat reporter for inside

the birds.com.

And our positional preview series is going to go ahead and continue on with the tight end position.

I've went through quarterbacks, running backs, wide receivers, offensive line,

and now the tight end position to conclude the offense.

We'll get into the schedule release at another time.

I'm recording this prior to the official unveiling,

though there have been a plethora of leaks.

And all but all the games have been secured.

There may be some tinkering between a week or two.

So I want to wait before, you know, I sort of give my analysis of it and my initial thoughts before we really delve into it a

little bit. But today we're going to go with tight end position and they went from having zero

tight ends in the room going into the off season to then having eight players at the position.

The room is led by none other than Dallas Goddard.

He signed back for one more year.

And given the way that the Green Bay Packers utilize the tight ends, I have to think that

Dallas Goddard will have a very prominent role once again, although I'm expecting him to have some more

creativity in terms of the routes run. So the route concepts being more advanced to take advantage

of Dallas Goddard's skill set. I do envision him still being involved in the red zone. I don't

think that that was sort of a blip on the radar or something that

was out of the ordinary that won't reveal itself again. I do believe that they're going to lean
