It's Monday afternoon, and we have some Eagles news.

The team, late this afternoon, announced that they've claimed wide receiver

Xavier Gibson off waivers from the New York Giants who claimed him off waivers earlier in the

season from the New York Jets. So some notes on Xavier Gibson, and I should also include

that Guard Kenyon Green was waived in a corresponding move.

So Gibson, anytime someone's claim, they go to the 53 man roster.

So he'll take Kenyon Green's spot on the 53.

And just some background on Gibson.

He's 24 years old, 5 foot 9, 189 pounds.

He was a 2023 undrafted free agent of the New York Jets.

He made their team out of training camp.

I remember watching Hard Knocks that season,

and he was one of the players that they focused on.

And they had a really cool moment at the end

and how he learned he made the team they pretty much

started out by saying hey you know the odds are stacked against you and then they pretty much said

congratulations you just made the new york jet so he made that team as an undrafted free agent

he doubles as a wide receiver as well in his career he has 27 career catches for 268 yards and a touchdown. He's played in 35

games, started three. This is an interesting move for the Eagles because they now add another
