Hey, what's up everybody? Welcome into another edition of DeCecho Daily. It's Andrew DeCecho,

0:14.8

Eagles Beat Reporter for Inside thebirds.com. And we have some Eagles news, though not in the way of offensive coordinator.

0:22.1

More on that in a moment. But the Eagles, to no surprise, have elevated safeties coach,

0:27.1

Joe Casper, to defensive backs coach slash past game coordinator, the role previously held by

0:33.4

Christian Parker, who last week became the Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator.

0:38.8

I've heard a lot of really good things about Joe Casper talking to players over the past

0:42.8

couple of years, and he is a sharp-minded defensive coach who is really well-versed in

0:50.6

1:51.0

in late November against the Cowboys.

1:53.5

Then you have the play of CJ Gardner Johnson in the past and also Marcus Epps, who

1:59.3

stepped in and did a really nice job when McCuba went down.

2:03.2

A couple of veteran players who I thought really made it so that the defense didn't miss a beat when they were in there.

2:09.6

And I think a lot of that has to do with the coaching under Joe Casper.

2:13.1

And there's also two practice squad players in Brandon Johnson and Andre Sam, both of which have been

2:20.0

elevated on different occasions to the 53-man roster for the game day, for the game day
