Hey, what's going on, everybody?

Welcome into another edition of DeCecho Daily.

It's Andrew DeCecho, and the Eagles had a practice on Tuesday, so you know we have to talk about it.

A lot of observations, despite it being just a

57-minute practice, which is expected that Cleveland Browns are coming into town Wednesday and

Thursday for joint practices. And those are practices where the intensity is palpable. Everything

gets ratcheted up a little bit. And it's going to be a demanding session, sessions.

So it wasn't really a surprise to see the Eagles kind of lighten the load,

so to speak, on Tuesday, kind of getting them ready for the Browns coming into town.

So A.J. Brown and Zach Bonn were limited participants, again, which is always encouraging.

They participated in individual drills, but not the team period, which is normal.

And also returning to practice, defensive tackle Byron Young, who's missed some time with the groin injury,

and running back Montreal

Johnson Jr., a rookie free agent who looked good in the early part of camp and then was

sidelined for a while with a hamstring injury.

The Eagles also parted ways with long snapper Christian Johnstone and signed defensive

tackle Justin Rogers. That was before training camp.

And Justin Rogers is assigning, presumably, in light of the fact that the Eagles are now without

Gabe Hall, who was sidelined today, and we'll have to see what the extent of it is, but it was with his

shoulder. He suffered that in the open practice. So Justin Rogers, who was a 2024, seventh round

pick of the Dallas Cowboys, 23 years old. He's wearing number 75, and he's going to presumably

be there to take on some of those reps in the joint practice
