I do have something that I wanted to get into real quick about news that came out from Jay Glazer, and this is Tuesday evening.

Former Pro Bowl cornerback, J.R. Alexander, has decided to step away from football to try to focus on getting

himself right physically and mentally before deciding on his future.

Alexander informed the Eagles of his decision today at NFL on Fox has learned.

This is from Jay Glazer.

So Jaira Alexander did not travel with the Eagles and he was sort of acclimating to the defense and recovering his knee back in Philadelphia.

And that was, you know, it was kind of to be a course of action similar to Brandon Graham,

a ramp up of sorts to ensure that he was going to be ready to help the team down the stretch.

But obviously, and there will be, I'm sure, more to come from this.
