Hey, what's going on, everybody?

Welcome into this edition of DeCecho Daily.

Andrew DeCechko here, bringing you the news and notes from day seven of Eagles training camp.

It was pleasantly cool.

It almost felt like a fall football weather day out there

at the NovaCare Complex as the Eagles were fully padded and I thought it was the most entertaining

of the seven training camp practices that I've attended. It featured a mix of team drills first and, you know, ones and twos.

And it also had the drill that I've talked about and I've referenced before, the one-on-one

offensive line versus defensive line, which is always really fun to watch as certain players

have some advantages. But it really just underscores

how dominant this Eagles offensive line is. And we'll start with the news and notes. Obviously,

the most important information is that the status report, as I always give you. And I'm not

practicing linebacker, Zach Bond, tight on E.J. Jenkins, wide receiver,

Terrace Marshall, cornerback Mac McWilliams, wide receiver Devante Smith, edge rusher,

Nolan Smith, and fullback Ben Van Sumer.

McWilliams and Van Sumeran are two new additions to the injury report.

I didn't quite see what happened to Mack, but for Ben, that was the play that I talked about

where he went to block Jihad Campbell on a running play.

Jihad Campbell tossed him to the ground, and that's deemed an ankle injury for Ben.

So I'll have to wait and see the extent of it, but he was sidelined the day after, which was Friday.

And then it looked to me like rookie running back Montreal Johnson Jr. got dinged up early in practice.
