Now, C.J. Gardner Johnson is a player that I view as the tone setter and or as a tone setter.

And when you look at what he brought to that defense, the NFL's top ranked defense last season,

it was grit, it was toughness, it was physicality, it was attitude and swagger. He brought all of those things. And as a result, I thought the defense really embodied C.J. Gardner Johnson's personality. And they were a force. That was the best equals defense I'd ever seen. And I think a lot of that stem from C.J CJ Gardner Johnson's mental makeup, his personality.

That seemed to really radiate throughout that defense and I think it really manifested on the

grandest stage, the Super Bowl 59, where the Eagles really took it to the Kansas City Chiefs.
