What's happening, everybody?

Welcome into this edition of the Checo Daily.

It is Andrew DeCecho and Eagles Chiefs just two days away.

I said this yesterday, but it feels like it's been forever

since we've seen Eagles football. I'm excited to cover this game. And we now have the game

day statuses based off a Friday's injury report. And it shouldn't really be a surprise,

but out for this game, tight end Dallas got it with the knee injury,

running back Will Shippley with the oblique, and tackle Cameron Williams with the shoulder,

questionable for the Eagles quarterback Tanner McKee with the right thumb.

Now, quick note on Tanner McKee, Friday's practice was the first time he's thrown

since suffering the injury to his right thumb on August 18th.

He had a glove on his throwing hand.

It puts a little bit of optimism into his game day availability behind Jalen Hertz.

If not, Sam Howell will be the second quarterback.

But obviously encouraging news for

Tanner McKee, who's been sidelined for a while now, seems like he's trending in the right direction.

But for Dallas Goddard and Will Shipley, if you've been keeping an eye on the injury statuses

throughout the week, it really shouldn't be a surprise.

Now, I've gotten a lot of questions as to who would be the primary behind Sequin Barclay.

And, I mean, Tank Bigsby just got here earlier this week, so it's kind of hard to envision a large workload in the absence of Will Shipley.

I do believe that he's going to be the primary kick returner alongside either John Mechie or A.J. Dillon, but I do think that A.J. Dillon, between the two, between Tank

Bigby and Dillon, would be the logical choice having, you know, because he's been with the team since the spring.
