And we got some Eagles news.

On Thursday, the Eagles announced that they've hired

Sean Manion to be the new offensive coordinator. The search is over. There's some intrigue here

with this addition. And there's also some different aspects of the coaching hire that I think we need to discuss because it's a big swing,

no doubt for the Philadelphia Eagles, who cast a very wide net.

They go outside of their comfort level, and this coach, Sean Madion, does not have any prior ties to Nick Siriani.

So they really did their due diligence here, and I think you like it.

It was an extensive search, and it wasn't a name that really surfaced until later in the process.

But Sean Manning clearly wowed the Eagles in those interviews.

He had two of them, and everything that I've sort of gathered, this is an intelligent, bright offensive mind.

And, yes, he coached just two years in the NFL as an offensive assistant in 24.

In 2025, he was the quarterbacks coach.

But you have to look at the product there.

In 2025, Jordan Love, Malik Willis, they both performed very well.

Malik Willis was sort of a reclamation project there.

When he needed to play, I thought that he showed tangible signs of growth.

Jordan Love had the best season of his career.

This was a coach in Sean Manion who may not register all that much as a household name to those on the outside.

But in NFL circles, make no mistake about it, he was viewed as a fast fast rising coach and ascending coach who has head coaching
