| 0:00.0 | What's happening, everyone. |
| 0:11.0 | Welcome into another episode of DeCecho Daily. |
| 0:13.6 | It's Andrew DeCecho, Eagles Beat Report of Friendside the Birds.com. |
| 0:17.3 | And today we're going to do something a little different on the podcast. |
| 0:20.9 | I'm going to name four players, the first two of which I believe are going to go a little |
| 0:27.8 | bit higher than expected and could even fight their way into the first round. |
| 0:32.6 | The other two players who are projected widely to be day two players, who I'm expecting to go a little bit higher |
| 0:40.3 | than what the consensus currently has them slotted at. |
| 0:43.8 | So we'll start with the first player and that's UCF edge rusher Malachi Lawrence. |
| 0:49.2 | Really long arms. |
| 0:50.5 | He has an 81 and 5.8 inch wingspan, 6 6-4-3-8s, 253 pounds. |
| 0:58.5 | Had 11 tackles for loss, seven sacks, and two-force fumbles last season. |
| 1:03.2 | Was a two-year starter for the nights. |
| 1:05.5 | He turns 23 years old in July. |
| 1:08.3 | But, man, when you watch his tape, the long arms and length he uses to his |
| 1:14.8 | advantage. He's a finisher. He plays with good urgency and tenacity. And I believe that his frame |
| 1:21.9 | and his quickness and power all are going to blend together and give some team a high impact edge rusher. |
| 1:31.0 | And in a class that doesn't have a ton of definitive options beyond the top of the draft class, |
| 1:37.8 | then you have your Keldrick Fox and you have your Akeem Messadors, T.J. Parker, Cassius Howell. |
| 1:45.3 | Well, I think Malachi Lawrence has a chance to sneak his way into the back end of the first round |
| 1:51.2 | due to the short supply of early impact edge rushers or some that have qualities that lend itself to having a favorable start or an impactful type of career. |
| 2:06.0 | And so I look at Malachi Lawrence and he was a player that I had a second round grade on, mid-second round grade to start the process. |
