Hey, what's up everybody?

Andrew DeCechko here with this edition of the Checo Daily.

And today we're going to do the first of a two-part series where I name five of my

favorite players, personal favorite players in the

2025 NFL draft.

I'm not going to give anything about where they're going to slot because it's way too early

to determine what round they're going to go in or where they're projected.

It's players that I like for a multitude of reasons.

And we're going to start by talking about a

linebacker from Alabama named Jihad Campbell, 6-3-235. So he fits the prototypical size of what one would

expect from that linebacker position at the NFL level. And really, he moves extremely well.

He has good ball skills.

I think his instincts really jump out on tape when you see him be able to close

and process things quickly.

Just, in my opinion, the best off-ball linebacker in this draft class

and somebody that I can expect, somebody that I'm

expecting to go, I told you I wasn't going to slot rounds, but back into the first round,

I would imagine.

Linebackers don't typically go super early, but he's a special case.

And coming from that Alabama program, hard-nosed player, smart, detailed, that's a

player that I'm expecting to really jump out. He helped himself based on a strong showing on

Friday evening, Thursday evening. And so I think that he's a player that a lot of folks can expect to see rise up draft boards, but he's a complete player.
