And today was a Tuesday schedule for the Eagles, but not exactly the Tuesday that we've grown

accustomed to. Eagles defensive coordinator of Vic Fangio spoke at 2 o'clock. The Eagles have a

walkthrough at 515. And then there's the locker room later in the day. Again, everything is sort

of truncated because of the abbreviated week.

And Vic Vanjou had a lot of interesting things to say during his press conference. And we'll get to that in a moment.

But a lot of it had to do with the safety outlook.

And we talked a little bit about that in the previous podcast.

But the Eagles are light there at safety with Drew McCuba, suffering a fractured ankle in the late in the game against the Cowboys.

Reed Blankenship, more on him in a moment, suffered the thigh injury there, and it'll be Sidney Brown starting opposite whom.

Well, Vic Van Joe sort of helped connect some of those dots in his

press conference. But let's start by talking about what he had to say about Sidney Brown. So Sidney

Brown has played 26 defensive snaps against the Cowboys and started one game this season. He's in line to

start his second game of the season.

I mentioned he's an entertaining player to watch,

especially on special teams,

because he almost bullies the opposition,

extremely physical, flies around,

does give you some penalties there,

but you're looking for some restraint.
