And the Eagles held their final practice of the week.

That is until Sunday when Game Week officially kicks off.

That's the next time they'll be on the practice field. And there were a number of transactions,

number changes, and practice status notes that we have to get to. So let's get right to it.

I'm not going to carry this podcast too long today, but I do, as always,

want to hit you with the information and give you that quick fix of all that happened today at

the NovaCare complex. So let's start with the practice status. And bear in mind, as we get into

this, that in the regular season, it's a lot different from training camp. So we as the

media, we're there for about 15 minutes when we are able to see practice. So you're seeing

warm-ups and individuals. So it's not quite like the summer where you got to see the whole

practice. That's the difference. So from what we were able to see, guard Landon Dickerson, knee wide receiver A.J. Brown hamstring practiced in some capacity for the second consecutive day. So did wide receiver Devante Smith, who had the groin. He was also a participant. And cornerback Keely Ringo, who sustained a quad injury on the final day of training camp that sidelined him from the preseason finale, also participated.

No practice again for rookie safety, Drew McCuba, who's still nursing the hamstring injury, but he was spotted working on a side field.

The Eagles fortified their depth at the position by adding veteran safety Marcus Epps

to the practice squad that was announced late last night.

He was out there today.

He's wearing number 39.

Epps suffered an ACL injury in week three of last season.

Important to note.

And as for Willie Lampkin, the Eagles rookie center, who they claim via waivers
