For those who don't know how I approach mock drafts, I have a process.

There is a handful of players realistically that are going to fall with, typically fall within

And I try to always one strive for realistic expectations here, but also rationale, thinking how Howie Roseman and the Eagles would think.

enjoy. The Eagles currently hold seven picks in April's draft. So here's my first look at what I'll

probably end up doing three or four this cycle. In the first round, at pick 32, and by the way,

I don't do any trades. i don't do any hypothetical scenarios in

mind because it kind of it just loses its effectiveness in my opinion and and essence

of realism so for practicality purposes i stayed with all the picks as currently constituted

with round one in with in the picks as currently constituted with round one in the 32 spot.

I considered an offensive tackle like a Josh Simmons from Ohio State or Josh Connerly from Oregon.

But they don't have the typical length that you would like to see.

They're really, really, really phenomenal players.

And I think that they could take over for Lane Johnson in the future.

But I think Lane, I think there's still a little bit way, there's a little ways off before they have to start thinking about replacing Lane Johnson.
