What's going on? This is DeCecho Daily. I'm Andrew DeCecho, Eagles Beat Reporter for Inside thebirds.com, and our

positional preview continues on. I've discussed quarterbacks, running backs, tight end, and today

I'm going to take a look at the wide receiver room where there are a lot of questions and I'm

expecting it to have a new look going into the 2026 season. Well, I guess we'll naturally start with

AJ Brown.

There's been a ton of chatter for the better part of a year now as to whether or not AJ Brown will be traded or whether he's going to stay in Philadelphia and play out the rest

of his deal.

There's been so much discourse surrounding the AJ Brown saga, and it would be

disingenuous for me to sit here and tell you that I'm leaning towards one way or the other.

I've teetered between different, on different sides of the fence there based off of information

that I've gathered this offseason. Look, the NFL scouting combine is approaching next week.

That's where a lot of conversations take place.

The Eagles certainly aren't going to give away A.J. Brown for a song.

It's going to take something pretty substantial to blow them away.

But make no mistake about it.

And this feels like it goes without saying, but the Eagles are a much

better football team with A.J. Brown on it. Look at the levels of success that they've had with him in

the mix. They've been to two Super Bowls with A.J. Brown as the top receiving option on this

offense. But I guess the root of all this is derived from what does AJ want?

Because if AJ wants to go somewhere else, if he won't be happy or if he has questions about

whether or not he's going to see the kind of volume that he likes week in and week out,

there'll be games where he would see nine, ten targets a game, but that's not going to be
