Hey, what's happening, everybody? Welcome into another edition of DeCecho Daily. It's Andrew DeCechko here from inside the birds.com. And I know I recorded a podcast earlier in the day, but the Eagles on Saturday afternoon

struck another trade, which means it's time to deliver another

podcast to the ITB faithful and those who listen. Much appreciated as always. The Eagles announced

that they've agreed to acquire cornerback Jair Alexander and a 2027 seventh round pick from the Ravens

in exchange for a 2026 sixth round pick.

The team also plays safety Marcus Epps and outside linebacker Aziz O'Giolari on injured reserve.

O'Giallari goes on injured reserve with the hamstring injury that kept him out of the Giants game.

And Marcus Epps looked to be banged up in the post game locker room following the Eagles 38 to 20 win over the New York Giants.

So those two moves go along with the trade.

And let's take a look at Jair Alexander because I understand that there's intrigue.

This is a player who is a household name and he's been an all pro.

He's been a pro bowler in 2020 and 22.

But you also have to look at the current product, the current player. And when the Ravens acquired

Jay or Alexander, there was a lot of intrigue there. There was a lot of anticipation about what he

could potentially add to their defense. But as it turned out, Alexander, who has struggled with

injuries in his career, he was healthy, but he only played in two games for the Baltimore

Ravens this season, logging 61 snaps. And the Ravens defense has really really struggled and that's putting it mildly.

So the fact that he couldn't get onto the field should raise some eyebrows and
