Hey, what's up everybody?

This is a Wednesday edition of DeCecho Daily.

And today, there's going to be no tush push talk.

I've had my quota for the next day or so.

But we are going to talk about fullback.

That's right, fullback, Ben Van Sumerin, who resigned with the Eagles in March.

It was right when I was at Rutgers Pro Day when the news came through.

And he was listed as a fullback, exclusively as a fullback, which was interesting to me.

Because, of course, we all remember that he moonlighted at fullback, but he's a linebacker by trade.

He does have the running back background from his time at Michigan.

One of the best athletes on the foot off Eagles, first and foremost. So if you

don't know a lot about them, you can go back and read some of the work that I, some of the

stories that I've written about Ben, but a tremendous athlete. And I remember very well that

there was the Eagles put out a video, I think, last year, and the players are walking off the field and walking into the locker room.

And different players are saying who they thought the best athlete of the team was.

Now, you hear a lot of me, you know, like, oh, it's me, no doubt about it.

But I remember Thomas Booker pointed at Van Zumerant and said, Ben, and Ben kind of like shook his head sheepishly and walked off because

that's kind of the guy that he is, but a fantastic athlete, somebody who runs a 4-4, who jumps

a 40-inch vertical, who can play lineback, who can play fullback, who had a baseball background.

He nearly played baseball for Michigan State.

So this is a player that, and to pick up fullback at the NFL level and make an impact early, I think is a really
