| 0:00.0 | Hello everyone and welcome into DeCecho Daily. I am your host, Andrew DeCechko. And today, to start things off this week, I am going to discuss some of the remaining holes on the Eagles roster |
| 0:22.2 | as it currently stands. Remember with Hallie Rosemont's important note that the offseason is never |
| 0:27.3 | quite over. The season doesn't start until September, but after the draft, we're going to look at |
| 0:33.8 | some of the areas that could stand to be addressed as they are a little bit light |
| 0:39.2 | in terms of depth. The first position I'm going to look at today is wide receiver. Obviously |
| 0:46.5 | beyond Devante Smith and A.J. Brown and Jehan Dotson, there's a bit of a question as to whether |
| 0:53.6 | or not the Eagles have enough behind |
| 0:55.1 | those three. In other words, if AJ or Devante were to have to miss time for any reason, |
| 1:00.2 | or miss a series or missing, you know, a large chunk of the game, would you feel confident |
| 1:05.1 | in second-year-wide receivers Johnny Wilson or Ania, stepping into the forefront or cast off Terrace |
| 1:14.1 | Marshall, who was a second round pick of the Panthers a couple of years ago, stepping into the |
| 1:18.6 | forefront. I think that might be a little presumptuous to assume that either of those players, |
| 1:23.9 | any of those players could step in and give the Eagles meaningful snaps. And that's also |
| 1:29.2 | not to say that every team across the NFL, if you look at it, are a little bit devoid of depth |
| 1:35.6 | in certain areas. But Johnny Wilson, very limited experience last season. He would be next in line |
| 1:42.4 | as the fourth receiver. There's Danny Gray, |
| 1:45.2 | who was on the practice squad last year, who you all know, I think, very highly of. He's fast. He's, |
| 1:50.2 | has the pedigree being that third round pick in 2022. He's a three-level threat. And he gave all |
| 1:56.2 | of the starting defenders that secondary gave him fits at different points of the season. But again, who can you count of the aforementioned that you would feel confident in |
| 2:05.6 | stepping into a more prominent role if circumstances dictated? |
| 2:10.5 | I think that's an area that you could see the Eagles adding another player to add some competition. |
| 2:19.9 | But again, you have to let the players who are already there give them the opportunity in training camp to really cement their status |
