But today I'm going to do something a little bit different.

I wrote a story for Inside thebirds.com where I outlined three of my breakthrough players

at all three phases, special teams, defense, and offense. And I'm curious to hear where you

may land on that. You can weigh in at Inside thebirds at gmail.com. And for me, I'm going to start

it on offense because there's a lot of different, well,

there's a couple of different candidates.

It's hard to measure an offensive lineman as a breakthrough because you could also look

at someone like a Tyler Steen if he's able to hang on and be that starter.

You could look at someone like a Jahan Dotson with the full offseason with the Eagles

and him being able to really have that opportunity where you're not trying to find your way.

There's no growing pains.

You're really able to get going early and get revved up and have that continuity with Jalen Hertz.

But I'm going with second year running back Will Shipley.

And we talk about how valuable Kenny Gamewell was for the Eagles, and he really was, even as short yardish, but particularly in past protection and two and four minute reliability.

But he took on a decent role for that offense. And now with him going to the Pittsburgh Stewards and Free Agency,

the role, I mean, one would think that Will Shipley,

the Eagle's second year running back out of Clemson,
