With a country divided, the Republican risk and morality being redefined, it's time to get around the campfire, get back to basics, and spark the revival that this country so desperately needs.

This is the American Campfire Revival with Cook Cameron.

It is Thursday night and it's Patriot Night. You know, I was thinking tonight and reading and studying and looking through the book, the American Covenant, The Untold Story like we have been. And, you know, I just keep getting reminded

that we live in the greatest country on earth. And I've been really discouraged by some of the,

I'm not personally discouraged. I'm, I'm disappointed in some of the stories that I'm reading.

You know, with the Olympics going on and all this talk about this nation and that nation in America, and we've heard about athletes who have decided to step out of competitions

and then others who are making other kinds of interesting decisions. And then I read an article

about some college students who are saying, you know, I just, I'm not really wanting to vote for,

I'm sorry, I'm not really wanting to vote for, I'm sorry, I'm not really

wanting to cheer for America as a team because I'm kind of embarrassed to be an American.

I'd rather just cheer for individuals.

And that really disheartened me because I'm thinking, we live in a country that has been so

blessed.

And if we're not everything you want that country to be,

well, then instead of like just saying, well, I'm not for you anymore, let's work together to

make this country all that it has been called to be. And, you know, people saying, oh, man,

you know, America is just, it's just so rotten.

There's just, there should, why isn't their free health care?

Why isn't their free housing? It just shows you how corrupt things are. And someone had a great comment and they said, well, you know, there's, there's some Americans who are tired of funding your college loans. So why don't you pay them back and then move out and go to the kind of country that you would like to root for because you like the way that they do things.

Here we're all about self-government and freedom, freedom in the marketplace, being able to take care of our own health care.

And we're not wanting to just hand all of the education and the

economy and health care and politics over to an elite group who will decide what kind of laws
