Yesterday, President Biden did exactly what I said he would do on this podcast.

He re-nominated Jerome Powell to a second term as Fed Chair, and he also elevated Lyle

Brainerd to vice chair.

And that's also a prediction that I made because there are a lot of people in the Democratic

Party who are pushing for Lyle Brainerd to get the top spot.

But as I said on the podcast, I did not think there was any reason for President Biden

politically to rock this boat or change courses midstream because there really wasn't any

upside for him in doing that.

And he has plenty of political cover in case something goes wrong.

So if Biden were to go out on a limb and make a switch and go with Brainerd, and then

if something happens, something goes wrong, which something is going to go wrong most

likely.

So it's going to hit the fan.
