Well, back in April, I found myself leaving my house at about 6.30 a.m. on a.m. on a Sunday morning

because I was going to drive to Houston to speak at a church. I do that often on Sunday mornings,

and I just prefer to get up and drive there on the morning and just make it a one-day trip.

And so I was up and out the door at 630 a.m.

And I got on Highway 6 heading towards 290. And it was just pitch black outside because of daylight

savings time. And so I was all alone. I mean, there was no lights on Highway 6. And there were no cars

because nobody is that bad at planning

that would find themselves in a car driving at 6.30 a.m. except for me, and so I'm making my way

down 6, and I get past Navasota, and then I'm in between Navasota and 290, and as I'm driving just in pitch darkness, and it's kind of calm, it's a sweet time

of the morning when no one else is around.

It's just nice and quiet.

I'm just enjoying the morning to myself.

Right as I'm in the midst of being in between Navasota and 290, I get this iPhone

emergency alert, and here's what it said.

It said, emergency alert, tornado warning in this area till 7.30 a.m., take shelter now.

Obviously, that's not a big deal for you. Tornado warning!

Not watch like, it's here, people.

A tornado has come into your area.

Take shelter now.
