She sat down with my colleague, TCM host Alicia Malone, to talk about what it was like

to revisit her experience on the film set of The Bond Fire of the Vanities.

great pleasure to sit down with Julie Solomon.

Hi, Julie.

Hi, Alicia.

Before we get into all that, I'd love to start out just finding out a little bit more

information about you.

So I know you grew up in a small town.

When did you first discover movies?

Oh, I think before I was born, my parents are immigrants.

They're from Czechoslovakia and my mother from the time I can remember told us that the

way she learned English when they first arrived in New York was by going to the movies.
