On today's show we're going to talk about a number of topics that are all very difficult we're going to talk about life after rape we're going to talk about the devil and we're also going to talk about communion to unbelievers and so before we get into those topics I want to share with you a glorious story.

My glorious story is we come from sometime I was given by the Lord to hang out with one of my good friends Chica Chica is a a national speaker and she is just a real gift to the church I met her a few years ago through life team my buddy Mark heart his friends both Chica and in myself and so he reached out to both of us and invited us to give a talk together on racism and from that time that we spent preparing that particular talk

at the life team Catholic Youth Ministers Conference her and I became great friends and so I invite her to come to my parish because on Tuesdays I think like maybe eight Tuesdays out of the year something like that we have what's called a renewed ladies nights and that's where we invite women to come to the parish to speak to the ladies of my parish.

I'm sure the testimonies are shared something about their walk toward Jesus and in Chica came and she delivered a message that was just totally filled with the Holy Spirit and so many women afterward gave me so much positive feedback from a presentation so many women really were able to perceive the voice of Jesus speak through Chica's witness but it was a gift to have here because we went on a lot of adventures while she was down here.

I spent a lot of time at a common monastery and I've been in Dictant monastery and in aeration chapel in Covington we had some amazing coffee at this random coffee shop.

That was about the size of I don't know like a kitchen maybe was super super small and a lot of wood and I she likes her coffee like Wesley Snipes and I like my coffee like how the bear so I'm gonna see if you could figure that out what that means but yes we had coffee together we were to pray together hang out she is able to spend a lot of time with the ladies in my parish we were able to go visit my God child who was born while she was down here we have some good Nigerian food.

And the whole week was just a total gift it was a gift and we finished it off by watching black Panther with my buddy father Brad Doyle and so that was hilarious as well because it was for the first time seeing it and there was a lot of funny comments area that was going on between he and Chica during that movie and so it was a great great great week and she got to accompany me when I went to the hospital to to give some of the sacraments who had never received the sacraments and she was and she wasn't doing too well and so it was a gift to be able to

share that moment with Chica as well so it was a gift from the father I'm grateful it was a glory story I love holy friendships if you have someone in your life who is holy who you haven't seen in a while or haven't reached out to a

while I would encourage you to hit that person up and to reconnect with that person so that you can help that person and that person can help you grow closer to our Savior Jesus Christ today and every day for the rest of your lives and to eternity.

Dear father Josh I don't actually have a question just wanted to take a moment and say how awesome your podcast is.

The first encounter with you was about a year to ago I watched the video you made with Father Mike Schmitz about your journey and his to the priesthood.

That was a beautiful story by the way praise God.

I also remember seeing you at a youth conference I wasn't there but was able to live Schmitz yay to technology so never met you in person but hopefully someday.

Yeah look if we don't meet in person right now there's always having my friend is always having that's why we gotta be saints so we can all connect one day anyways back to my note I was mind I'm on business on Facebook yesterday when I came across a post from a sentient after watching that video I then came across your podcast.

Thank God for that I had to say it was so dope I loved it I listened to the podcast was hooked five videos later I'm still hooked I tell you why your podcast is so amazing it's true and genuine you explain the faith in plain talk and your response is very relatable and practical it's amazing it's amazing.

Hey so thank you for that now let's talk about your personality I laughed smiled amin everything you also sing very well whoa tell my dad that see my daddy tells me I sound like a cow that's being killed outside so every time I see like whoa honey somebody killing a cow outside so let my dad you know I can sing I've always told him at his funeral I'm gonna sing so many songs and uh yeah W hilarious if I did that thank you for taking the time to make these podcasts I'm listening to every single day.

I'm listening to every single one I tell you we all need all the encouragement on our journey to st.
