I come to you with a special episode of Rules

for Retrogrades today with Dr. Paul Kengor, a very special guest. Dr. Kengor is an author

and a professor of political science at Grove City College. He's executive director of the Center

for Vision and Values, a think tank there at Grove City

College.

He's also a visiting fellow at the Hoover Institute, and he is also the author of this new handsome

volume.

He's a tan book's mate of mine at Tan, and he's also a mate of mine who has had his book forwarded by

my friend Michael J. Knowles. Dr. Ken Gore, it's great to have you on. What's up? Tim, it's great

to be with you. I'm a big fan and a handsome book with a really ugly, nasty guy on the cover of it.

That's being Carl Marks, not Michael Knowles. Well, Nolz's face isn't quite on the

cover. But, you know, Nolz is a handsomer guy than Marks, but Marks has one of the most savage

beards of all times. I'm not a beard guy and I can't grow anything. You're clean, shaven there.

All I can grow is this little goatee, but he cans probably had several different species of insects and animals living in that spirit as well.

Right.

If you read about Marx's bathing habits and grooming habits, they're quite appalling.

In fact, a Prussian spy police reports, his wife, his mother, his children,

everybody begged the man to bathe, beg the man to clean himself up, beg the man to use

deodorant, brush his teeth. The guy was a real slob. So, yeah, not a pretty picture there.

They say messy desk, messy mind, maybe messy beard and lack of bathing, messy, messy mind.
