We're at 2nd Timothy, chapter number 3, and last week we read these verses in a different

translation on today, we're going to read these verses from the original King James

Version. This is the Apostle Paul talking to the young Timothy as he is preparing him and

training him for 1st century ministry and beyond. It is important that all of us understand

that God never prepares us for the test in the test. God prepares us for the test before.

It's much like when we attend college, the professor gives us an assignment, and it is our

responsibility to study the material and be prepared because exam day always comes. Our fathers

are very wise God and before we enter into a storm or a season of testing, God has already

prepared us. The issue is not that God hasn't done his part. For the most part, we have not

paid attention. We've not been listening. Whether we were asleep in class and maybe we were

recording in class, goofing off, just not paying attention, but God prepares us for the test before.

So Paul says now to young Timothy, this know also that in the last days, we are living in the

last days today, and the last days actually started when Jesus ascended into heaven after his death,

his veerless resurrection. We have been in the last days for a long time. So Paul says,

this know also that in the last days, perilous times will come, very difficult times, hard to deal

with times shall come. For men, this is inclusive of the female man. For men shall be lovers

of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents,

unthankful, unholy, without natural affection. So men are no longer attracted to men, I should say

males, they're attracted to other males. And females are no longer attracted to males, females

are attracted to other females. I didn't figure I'd get an amen. Without natural affection,

choose breakers, unable to honor a covenant, false accusers, incontinent, out of control, lacking
