The deuce wrapped up last week. Sure did. It's first season's run. Going into it. I was expecting a

expose or like not an expose but an explanation of how like the

porn industry rose to power and I felt like I got that and a lot more.

Yeah, absolutely.

Like I wasn't expecting a lot.

I mean, that's the first thing when I heard is like, man, that's weird for Simon and Pelicanos to take on porn it's like so

that doesn't seem like it has anything to do with urban blight but it has a lot to do

with urban blight yeah as it turns out it has a lot to do with urban life. Yeah as it turns out it has a lot to do with organized

crime and political maneuvering. Government corruption. Corruption from

top to bottom. Yeah it's it's all about the it's well within Simon's

wheelhouse let's say that it's it's his wheelhouse and here's the thing I don't

know how you felt about it because we haven't talked about this since the last time.

You must have liked it pretty okay because you kept up with the series without me having to like

ride you about it. But I can't tell whether I'm just in the tank for Simon and Pelicanos or if this is genuinely in the top three things that I've seen this year because right now I'm at

leftovers stranger things and the deuce in my top three I think I think the year's not over we're still still you
