HBO now does it's like you see the title and I'm like I thought it's gonna be like what big idea

But it's more like what big ideas you have my dear little red writing hood

uh an analogy I don't know

the better to fuck you with I guess

better to fuck you with yeah the better to turn you on What did you think of this episode, Jim? It's another one that I enjoyed. Like I said, this this

storytelling from Pelicanos and Simon is seemingly effortless.

It always puts me in the time in place

and I just have a blast watching it.

Yeah, I have always admired the elegance of these Simon and Pelicano storylines and how, like you said,

effortless, like how the hell do all of these very loosely connected stories.

It's almost and this I feel like this is even better because this is like

if he told all four seasons of the wire at the same time.

Uh-huh.

He's just rifled the deck and he just shut, like everything's got this little piece, you

got the cops, you got the life on the streets, you got the mafia, you got the kind of

guys who were seeing not really cut out for that life.

Maybe that's one of the weaknesses of Rudy's organization.

He's hired a lot of guys that are full of hustle but not much muscle.
