he or she, so if he or she listens to this, I apologize if I'm getting your gender incorrect. Because I seem to, I'm very hypersensitive to that. I do want to get the gender and the pronouns correct. I just don't know if I'm going to. Well, we don't always know because they don't always tell us. And this one did not have a name. Okay. Sometimes it just, you know, it feels like he or she and we just use that. But we don't always know. So let us know. We want to say, we want to use the right one. So if he's like, this really sounds like my story, except I'm a woman. And I apologize in advance for that.

So this has this kind of urban legend feel to it. Okay. So we'll discuss it and kind of see where

it goes, you know, as we're going along. So here it is. And then we'll discuss it.

Okay, so this is a recounting of an experience

if my memory serves me correctly

that happened to me about seven or eight years ago.

I was 19 at the time,

fresh off of my gap year after high school,

and had been accepted into a university

I planned to attend.

At the time, I lived with my parents in a town about 150 miles or 240 kilometers away from

the university, so I rented out a single room apartment in the city where my college was.

When the day to leave came, I said goodbye to my parents and made the decision to travel

alone to the other city.

Life for me had been hectic at the time, so I craved some alone time for a while now,
