So we turn now to Jeremiah chapter 50.

Chapter 50 begins with the words,

the word that the Lord spake against Babylon

and against the land of the Caledians by Jeremiah the Prophet.

The end of chapter 51 declares,

and that shall say, thus shall Babylon sink and shall not rise from the evil that I will bring upon her and they shall be weary thus far are the words of Jeremiah.

In other words, this is the completion of the words of Jeremiah.
