0:12.0	For the next few moments, we look to God's Word to discover simple Bible principles that will help us to live the daily Christian life and to enjoy the journey.
0:30.3	Not long ago, I was speaking in a great southern city, a beautiful part of the world,
0:36.1	a place where people love to go and to visit. A pastor friend there was talking to me about their city, and he said that so much wickedness,
0:40.7	open immorality has now moved in to this beautiful place.
0:45.5	This place that had long been known as a conservative place has now become very, very loose and liberal about moral things.
0:54.3	And I said to him, where did all of that begin?
0:57.0	Without hesitation, without even thinking about it, he said, no doubt.
1:02.1	It came immediately when the breweries came to town.
1:05.9	In other words, as soon as the alcohol industry invaded their city, it brought on its heels so many other wicked
1:14.4	things. Oh my friend, what's true in that city is true in every life. We're looking this week at what
1:21.3	God has to say about alcohol. Now, you may have your opinion and someone else may have their opinion,
1:27.0	but frankly frankly our opinion
1:28.4	is not the crux of reality.
1:31.0	It's not the truth that endure it.
1:33.8	It's not what will be judged by someday.
1:36.0	The only thing that really matters is what does God have to say about this issue or any
1:41.3	issue for that matter?
1:42.9	We began our study in Proverbs chapter 20, verse 1,
1:45.9	where the Bible says,
1:46.6	wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging,
1:49.1	and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise.
