Hello and welcome to this sleep story from Abide.

I'm Diane, and I'm glad you've joined me tonight for this story titled The Maid of the Mist. Tonight we will make our way to the border of the United States of America and Canada to a special landmark heralded by both countries.

This special landmark is shared by the state of New York and the province of Ontario.

And it is in this beautiful place that you will experience the magnificence of the Niagara Falls.

You will experience the falls on board the iconic made of the mist riverboat.

This adventure will give you a close-up look at the beautiful Niagara Falls as you view it from the base.

You will see here and even feel the falls as the water mists on your face from the safety

of the boat.

As you think of the glory of God during your experience at the waterfall, you will be invited

to consider the grandeur of his love and the depth

of his affection for you, his child.

As the psalmist writes in chapter 42, verse 7 in the English standard version, the deep calls to deep in the roar of your waterfalls.

All your waves and breakers have swept over me.

By day the Lord commands his steadfast love, and at night his song is with me me a prayer to the God of my life even the

depths of the ocean exclaim their praise and adoration for God their maker indeed he is

your maker too.
